The Presidential Search Committee to find a replacement for John Fry, current president of the College, has been completed.

The Presidential Search Committee to find a replacement for John Fry, current president of the College, has been completed.

The three selected faculty members are Annette Aronowicz, professor of Judaic studies and professor of religious studies; Michael Billig, professor of anthropology; and Peter Fields, professor of biology.

Mona Lotfipour ’12 and Sam Schmader ’12 were selected by the Diplomatic Congress to serve as the students on the committee.

Sam Houser ’89, secretary of the College, will serve as the committee’s staff liason.

Shelly Storbeck of Storbeck/Pimentel & Associates is being retained as the search consultant to the committee. Shelly was involved in the last presidential search in which Fry was selected.

“I am grateful to the members of the Presidential Search Committee for taking on this important service to the College,” said Dale Frey, Chair of the Board of Trustees, in an e-mail to the College. “The Trustees and I are confident that they will recruit a strong leader to help guide the College to a bright future.”

The new selectees join Sue Washburn ’73, chair of the comittee, Larry Bonchek P’91, chair-elect of the Board of Trustees; Stan Brand ’70, trustee; Dan Burton, vice chair of the Board of Trustees; Cathie Ferry, major gifts officer; Susan Klehr ’73 P’12, trustee; Tony Kreisel ’66, trustee; Eric Noll ’83 P’09, trustee; Art Taylor ’80, trustee; and Ben Winter ’67, trustee.
